After graduating from UC San Diego in December 2012, Stefanie pursued her passion in the field of meetings and events. She attributes her success to actively volunteering in the community, constantly seeking professional development opportunities, and (yes) failing to start her own business.
Stefanie is now a Regional Services Manager at OneCause, where she hires, trains, and leads a team of over 50 event managers that assist organizations with their fundraising efforts. She also produces large-scale annual events, including the Growth Marketing Conference and Culture Summit.
When living in San Diego, Stefanie served on the board of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and was an active tutor at Reality Changers for five years. Since August 2013, she has been heavily involved in Toastmasters, currently serving as District Director of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Stefanie currently resides in San Francisco. She is a shelter and advocate volunteer for Freedom House, an organization that helps survivors of human trafficking, and she enjoys running with her boyfriend and puppy @OzTheHusky. Stefanie’s most recent achievement is starting a blog on perfection paralysis: www.stefaniechow.com.
